• September 2020 – Change

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end.

    (Lamentations 3:22 ESV).

“Our steadfast, rock-solid, unchanging God loves to see change in his people.” – Stacy Sanchez

    Change

It can be such a scary word. The mere mention of it causes a myriad of emotions: fear, worry, and even excitement.

In the last few months, the world has seen nothing but change. The things we once knew to be true no longer are. It’s been overwhelming and hard to handle. What do we do when the world has been turned upside down? What is this “new normal?” How do we navigate it?

This month, the ladies at Write to the Heart tackled the topic of change. How do they handle it? Each writer has an unique viewpoint.

If you are on a hand-held device, click on the drop-down arrow and choose the writer/age group you would like to read. We hope you will read them all. There is so much depth to what they have to say.

    Enjoy!

  • August 2020 – Because You Said So, I Will…

Lately, we’ve had so many voices telling us what we should and shouldn’t be doing: wear a mask, don’t wear a mask, stay six feet apart, sing happy birthday while washing your hands, social distance yourself away from the world. The cacophony of voices is deafening.

Have you ever done something because someone said you should?

Have you ever done something because God asked you to?

    How did it turn out?

This month, the writers at Write to the Heart wrote on this topic: Because You Said So, I Will…

If you are on a hand-held device, click on the drop-down arrow and click on the name of the writer that you would like to read. We hope that you will read all of them. Each writer was open and vulnerable. It’s fun to see the different viewpoints on the topic between the teens through the eighties.

We would love to hear from you. Leave a comment at the bottom of this page, or on the bottom of any of the writer’s pages, and let us know something that you have done…because you said so.

  • July 2020 – Freedom!

And when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said unto her, “Woman, thou art loosed”…

    Luke 13:12

This month, the ladies at Write to the Heart tackled the topic of freedom. What does it look like to them? How does freedom manifest in their lives? Or, does it? Are they still being held captive by something?

It is fun to see the difference between what freedom means to a teenager compared to a woman farther along in life.

This was a hard topic for some of us to pen. It took some difficult self-reflection and vulnerability on our parts. We hope you enjoy what we have delivered.

What does freedom mean to you? Please leave a comment here or on one of the writer’s pages. We would love to hear what you think.

If you are on your hand-held device, click on the down arrow at the top of this page and pick a writer’s name under ‘blogs’. If you are on the computer click on ‘blogs’ at the top of the page and choose the writer you would like to read. We hope you will read all of them. Each age group has a unique perspective. There is also a bio page to let you know more about each of our writers.

    Enjoy! Let’s get started!

  • June – What Would I Tell My Younger Self?

If you could go back in time and give yourself advice, what would it be? Do you even think that you would have listened to your own advice?

This month, the ladies at Write To the Heart answered that question for themselves. How does the advice from a teen and an 80 year old differ? What has a 25 year old learned about herself to tell a teenager coming up behind her? How about a 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 year old? What wisdom can they impart to their younger selves? It will be interesting to find out. Click on each of the ladies in the different age groups to read what they would tell herself at a younger age.

If you are on a hand-held device, click on the drop down arrow, then click on the writer’s name in the age group you would like to read. If you are reading on a computer, click on ‘blogs’ and then the name of the writer. We hope that you will want to read all of them.

Please leave a comment and tell us what you would tell your younger self. We would love to learn from you, too!

  • May – Isolation

Hello! We are glad that you are here.

How’s your social distancing/isolation going? The last few weeks and now months have been tough on everyone. The social distancing and isolation from our family, friends, jobs, churches, and groups because of the Coronavirus is really starting to wear us down. Just when there was hope of the social restrictions being lifted, and we can get back to some kind of normalcy, they have been extended in some places. We have been disappointed, angry, bored, frustrated – you name it.

    When will this end???

Our blog posts this month are on the topic of isolation. Each writer has a different view on what it means to be isolated. Maybe you can relate to one, two, or even all of them.

We hope that you will be inspired by what you read. Feel free to share the posts you like. And, leave us a comment. We would love to hear from you.

If you are on your phone, click on on the drop-down arrow under the banner and click on blogs. Choose the writer that you would like to read. We hope that you will want read them all.
